FUT 22: New MOTM maps around Courtois and Knauff

EA SPORTS has released new MOTM cards for FOOTBALL 22 Ultimate Team (FUT) into the packs following the conclusion of the European Semifinals.

The finals in the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League are set. Real Madrid have fought their way into the Champions League final thanks to an incredible comeback against Manchester City. Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois (91) made strong saves to ensure that the “Royal” still had a chance of extra time in injury time. It could have been exciting between Liverpool FC and FC Villarreal if Luis Díaz (86) hadn't come on at halftime for the "Reds" - the Colombian led the LFC back to winning ways.

In the Europa League, two outsiders meet in Eintracht Frankfurt and Glasgow Rangers in the final: Ansgar Knauff (76) provided his SBU with the assist to make it 1-0 in the second leg against West Ham United, John Lundstram (79) scored in the 3-1 against RB Leipzig scored the decisive goal for Rangers. Tammy Abraham (84) did the same in the Conference League when his AS Roma beat Leicester City 1-0. In the final, the Italian capital club meets Feyenoord Rotterdam, the Dutch side lost 0-0 to Olympique Marseille in the second game. Cyriel Dessers (78) is honored for his brace in the first leg.

Iglesias, Pallois and Wöber are cup winners

Elsewhere, EA SPORTS released seven MOTM cards for the FUT 22 packs based on top performances in domestic cup competitions. Betis Sevilla's Borja Iglesias (86) stands out, the Spaniard scoring his team's only goal from open play in the Copa del Rey triumph on penalties. Central defender Nicolas Pallois (81) did not become the winning goalscorer in FC Nantes' 1-0 win in the Coupe de France final, but as chief of defense kept the defense intact against OGC Nice. Maximilian Wöber (80), on the other hand, scored the important second goal in RB Salzburg's 3-0 win over SV Ried.
