FUT 21: EA Sports will lose the Napoli license starting from the 2022/2023 season

Konami and SSC Napoli have formalized a long-lasting partnership that will allow the Japanese software house to exclusively use the rights of the Neapolitan club starting from the 2022/2023 season.
This means that EA Sports will not be able to include the logos and the name of Napoli in the official roster of FUT 23 and in all the modes included therein. After the license of Juventus and Roma, fans of the series will also have to renounce the license of Napoli.

Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. today announced that it has signed a long-term collaboration agreement with the Società Sportiva Calcio Napoli (“Napoli”), an Italian top division club.
This official partnership, related to the football-themed video game sector, will start in the 2021/22 season and will guarantee numerous marketing rights. Starting with the 2022/23 football season, the eFootball PES series will be the only real-time football simulation game to include an authorized reproduction of Napoli.
KONAMI also announced that it will become the official partner of the Napoli sports center. From 1 July 2021, the facility will be officially named "SSC Napoli KONAMI Training Center" and will include a brand new gaming area for players and guests.
