FUT 22: TOTW 5 Prediction with Haaland, Firmino & Co.

EA SPORTS will publish the fifth Team of the Week (TOTW) in FUT 22 Ultimate Team (FUT) this week, we present our prediction.

The international break has now ended and everyday life in the league has returned. However, the developer for TOTW 5 could still consider the World Cup qualifiers during the week, but we don't believe in that. Therefore, the focus of this prediction is on the performance of the players in their home division over the past weekend. Between the posts, Édouard Mendy (85) from Chelsea FC, who showed seven saves in the lucky 1-0 win against Brentford FC, is the clear favorite. The only real competitor is not a keeper at all, but a teammate: Ben Chilwell (84) was responsible for the winning goal of the "Blues", but Mendy showed the more memorable performance. Instead, Jason Denayer (83) from Olympique Lyon has good prospects after his goal against AS Monaco (2-0).

The other two defenders, whom we believe the greatest chances, come from the Premier League: Çağlar Söyüncü (83) contributed a goal to Leicester City's 4-2 win against Manchester United. Angelo Ogbonna (83), on the other hand, advanced to West Ham United's match winner against FC Everton (1-0) with his goal, but the "Hammers" did not concede. The first Bundesliga contender is Serge Gnabry (86) from Bayern Munich, who tied a brace against Bayer 04 Leverkusen (5-1). Robert Lewandowski (93) also scored twice, but for the top striker this yield should not be enough for the TOTW nomination. Dimitri Payet (83) from Olympique Marseille, who prepared three goals for his teammates against FC Lorient (4-1), collected even more points.

In midfield, we also choose Marko Pasalic (82/84) from Atalanta Bergamo, who presented twice at FC Empoli (4-1), and Ruud Vormer (82/84), who scored both goals for Club Bruges in 2-0 scored against KV Kortrijk. Both could become the featured card of the fifth TOTW, another candidate would be Hoffenheim's Ihlas Bebou (81/84), who scored twice in the 5-0 win against 1. FC Köln. EA SPORTS could build a strong attack around him with Roberto Firmino (86) or Mohamed Salah (91) from Liverpool FC. The Brazilian scored three goals and one assist at Watford FC (5-0), Salah had a creamy day, which he garnished with a goal and an assist. Erling Haaland (89) from BVB closes our prediction with his double against 1. FSV Mainz 05 (3: 1).
